Celebrating 100 Years of Lincoln Motor Company
G&R PARTNERED WITH LINCOLN TO REVISIT 100 YEARS OF HISTORY AND OFFER A VIBRANT GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE.
On February 4, 1922, Ford Motor Company purchased the Lincoln brand. A century later, they hired us to tell their story – past, present and future.
Beginning months in advance, G&R planned extensively alongside our clients to craft a series of events through the year, reaching several key audiences.
Ford Archives Tour – Media and special guests strolled through a special exhibition of Lincoln history, with classic vehicles, archival materials and a design gallery that showcased the past as well as the future
Media Briefing and Livestreamed Centennial Celebration – A two-day event centered around the reveal of the Lincoln Star concept vehicle, including an embargoed media immersion, a centennial celebration, a dramatic concept vehicle reveal and immersive sensory experiences – all held at NeueHouse in Hollywood, California
Formerly a soundstage where I Love Lucy was filmed, NeueHouse was a nod to Lincoln’s history of being ‘The Car of the Stars.’ An onstage appearance by Matthew McConaughey proved that it still is
Lincoln Retailer Celebrations – Lincoln wanted to celebrate with their clients, too, so we worked with key Lincoln Retailers across the country to host elegant gala experiences for their VIP guests, ensuring consistent messaging and theming at each location
G&R successfully accomplished its mission to celebrate 100 years in true Lincoln style while leaving audiences enchanted by the brand’s future possibilities.
